Pokemon Fiction: Circle of Life through strife and lies
Once Upon a time a very long time ago, Arceus came down from the heavens above and bestowed upon humanity the orb of life. From it sprang rivers with water so clean even a mirror would envy its clarity. From the springs came plants that flourished to life. Berries the size of watermelons and watermelons the size of geodudes grew from what once was smaller than a pebble. Humanity rejoiced at the food that they could harvest and water they could fetch for now they could live and prosper. Yet they craved more, for pokemon and humans became plump from the lack of work they had to do now to even eat. Soon they began to feast upon each other. Humans feasted upon humans and pokemon alike and Pokemon the same. One would assume tragedy would suddenly strike, but that is not always true for sometimes tragedy grows slowly but surely over time, for its true point of stopping was eons ago. Human greed began to grow as they became jealous of the pokemon who could breathe fire, live in the sea, and fly so high in the sky even over storm clouds on the horizon. Greed, envy, jealousy, combined brewed over time into hatred, and when it reached its boiling point tragedy struck. The orb of life was lost and an ancient promise was forgotten. Soon humans and pokemon combined to make some interesting creatures, but this soon became a forbidden law of the land. As time ticked on so did this pot simmer and stew. Soon Arceus returned from the orb of life, but alas it was lost so Arceus disappeared. Thinking that they have simply avoided the problem humanity marched on, but all was not what it seemed. Humans started disappearing, specifically, only 18 people disappeared. One was found floating down river having apparently drowned, the rivers once clean became murky and flowed only with blood. another was found hanging underneath a tree right next to two, one who seemingly died from blood being drained from their body hanging on a web next to a person who died from poisoning. Soon the crops were eaten or rotten, the very plants they used turned deadly. The legs from one of the missing persons was found underneath the rubble of what was assumed to be a cave collapse, suddenly they couldnt go anywhere without being back where they started. They began to fear the worse as they could no longer leave, but one could wonder if they ever could since they never tried to begin with. They assumed the other 12 were dead when they found one ripped apart. The village was never heard from again but arceus was seen with what seemed like plates of various typing. There is one warning if one were to ever venture to where the village once stood, life itself seems to seek humanity's destruction, everything there will be one's death if they do not proceed carefully, perhaps if the orb ever returns it might become habitable once again
